Pescara - Vicenza - 12.02.2016 / Italy B
Pescara (14-5-6; 40:27) climbed at the 3rd place (the first good for
promotion/playoff) due amazing streak of 7 won matches in a row, while
they drew the last away round against Salernitana (2-2) due goal scored
with 8 minutes to be played yet.
Vicenza (6-10-9; 27:32) stand in the 2nd part of the table: they keep 1
points more than playout/relegation zone and 4 points more than direct
relegation.
Vicenza won only 2 matches in the last 12 played (including 1 Cup's match) per 2-3-7.
Both teams started with high ambitions but they are going in opposite
directions: Pescara's coach Massimo Oddo (ex lateral of back of Verona,
Milan and Lazio) always declared that his team would be promoted at the
end of the season.
Pescara have roster very adequate for the cathegory with many roles
covered from large bench and Oddo expressed already his brilliant style
to prepare the team in the last season when they lost promotion at the
last match against Bologna (draw match, but worse placed in regular
season) when they hit bloody bar at the last minute of the match.
Vicenza have been the surprised team of the last season and they were
ready to reply the amazing past season, but limits of the roster
appeared clear after the first rounds, overall they have never been able
to take by hand the match against strongest teams of Serie B.
