Second leg at the greece 1/18 final - Cup.
Atromitos at the last few years reach the top of their plays and since then they are playing very good even and at the euroleague where unfortunally this season they failed to qualify (fenerbahce beat them) but this season team is struggeling.A lot of problems , there is just no team chemistry between the players and so far they are at the 16th place and it seems like they will fight for avoid relegations so its very difficult that the will reach some euro spot , so the cup is their only hope for this season.Coach Dellas has very good players with huge expirience like their goalkeeper Gorbunov , Bittolo , Napoleoni , Pitu , Brito and of course french international Le Tallec and after bad start it seems like they finaly catch some rhythm and now dont know for lost at last 7 games ( 4 wins and 3 draws.
On the other hand Platanias is just an average team that every season is finishing at the mid table around 10-13 place.They dont have some well known players.Their best players are Coulibaly and Ramos as same as Vanderson.Also they are in bad shape at last matches 4 losses and 2 draws (both draws was against this team , one at the first leg finished 0:0 and one at the league also finished 0:0).
Atromitos finished group stage 1st , while Platanias somehow thanks to that draw against Olympiacos pass the stage with better goal diferrence from Panegialios.At that first match , we couldnt see much chanses and it was well deserved draw but now i think there is no room for misstake for hosts if they want this season not to be so bad , while at that match played 3 days ago here , platanias was very lucky.Atromitos controled the match just didnt have enough luck and goalkeeper Sotiriou saved 2 great chanses.
